Circular economy trade mission to Taiwan
Circular economy trade mission to Taiwan
Taiwan and the Netherlands are working together to shape the future of the circular economy. This sector is critical for driving sustainable innovation, resource resilience, and global environmental solutions. By building partnerships in waste management, sustainable manufacturing, and circular design, both countries aim to strengthen supply chains, accelerate the circular transition, and deliver long-term value for businesses and society.
This trade mission brings together Dutch companies, knowledge institutions, and government representatives to Taiwan to explore circular economy opportunities. Participants will gain direct access to Taiwan's leading circular innovations, connect with top industry players, and showcase Dutch expertise within a rapidly advancing circular economy hub.
Taiwan's remarkable progress in circularity, combined with the Netherlands' systematic approach and innovative solutions, create unprecedented opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Egypt’s ambition is to make the transition to a resilient and future-ready agricultural sector. This entails more cultivation in greenhouses, modernising irrigation methods, and strengthening its workforce through skills development. As a sustainable and future-ready food system is a shared ambition between both countries, the Netherlands aims to partner with Egypt to accelerate this transition.
The Netherlands has a long history in horticulture, particularly in developing practical knowledge and innovative technologies to grow efficiently with limited resources. Egypt, in turn, brings solid local expertise and a thorough understanding of the climate and market. By adapting proven solutions to local conditions together, we can combine our expertise to support Egypt's horticultural development.
The Dutch cluster Climate and Water-Smart Protected Cultivation brings knowledge and expertise in greenhouse systems, precision irrigation, climate-smart cultivation, and workforce development. Together with Egyptian partners from the public and private sectors, and the agricultural team at the Netherlands Embassy in Cairo, we aim to co-create a resilient, modern horticulture sector that can thrive.
Our cluster members are ready to work with Egyptian farmers, companies, and knowledge institutions. Together, we will strengthen Egypt’s horticulture sector, boost productivity, create jobs, and drive economic growth. We look forward to sharing knowledge, technology, and experiences. Let’s farm the future together!
