NLwatertech2Italy workshop: emerging contaminants

On the 10th of June, we hosted a successful online workshop focusing on the removal of emerging contaminants such as PFAS, pharmaceuticals, and pesticides from drinking water and wastewater systems.

The workshop, supported by the Dutch Government under the Partners in Business programme, brought together key stakeholders from across Italy’s water sector to share valuable insights and solutions.

The session explored practical approaches, including the use of advanced membrane technologies (such as hollow fibre nanofiltration), best practices from utilities, and compliance with EU regulations and environmental goals. Experts discussed the latest strategies for addressing contaminants, with a focus on the elimination of emerging pollutants.

If you missed the live event or would like to revisit the discussions, the full recording of the workshop is now available. Click below to watch the session and gain insights into tackling micropollutants in Italian water systems.
