From October 21st-29th, Dutch Design Week 2023 promises to captivate audiences once again with its celebration of design-driven solutions that have the potential to reshape society for years and even decades to come.

In 2023, Dutch Design Week introduces ten program narratives that serve as a compass, guiding visitors through the labyrinth of creativity on display. These narratives help match the participating designers with curious minds eager to explore the cutting edge of design. Importantly, they are founded on missions and design perspectives that reflect the most pressing concerns of our times, including the climate crisis and social inequality. 

Central to this vision is the commitment of designers, who possess the remarkable ability to visualise alternative futures. Miriam van der Lubbe, Creative Head of Dutch Design Week, emphasised the role of designers in breaking through the inertia that often accompanies discussions of societal change.
