Using circular economy practices to achieve SDGs
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent a blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all by 2030. The SDGs are a call to action by all countries – rich, poor and middle-income to promote prosperity while protecting the environment.
In addition, the notion of a Circular Economy (CE) as an alternative economic framework has been gaining significant momentum worldwide. This growing CE interest is reflected by the emergence of numerous actors across the globe who form a framework for organising and pursuing sustainability initiatives.
