NL - US | Life Sciences & Health
The United States and the Netherlands face many common healthcare challenges, including an aging population, rising healthcare costs, staff shortages, and the increasing burden of non-communicable diseases. At the same time, expectations for personalized care are steadily increasing, while the healthcare workforce continues to shrink, putting added strain on infrastructure and capacity. These pressures make the balance between quality, accessibility, and affordability more relevant than ever. However, both countries are leaders in healthcare innovation, and their shared commitment to finding solutions creates a strong foundation for collaboration.
This strategic public-private approach aims to create a transatlantic partnership in innovative healthcare, including digital health technologies (HealthTech) and medical technologies (MedTech). It enables Dutch and American companies to scale their innovations and collaborate with United States counterparts to drive meaningful advancements in healthcare delivery across both continents. By working together, this approach helps both Dutch and American healthcare systems benefit from new ideas and innovations.
