FinTech Germany
Germany’s financial-services sector is evolving. Banks, insurers, payment service providers and FinTech companies are working to modernise services, respond to changing customer expectations and strengthen operational resilience while adapting to evolving regulatory requirements. Closer cooperation between Germany and the Netherlands creates opportunities to share knowledge and address common challenges.
Through the Dutch government-supported Partners for International Business (PIB) programme, seven Dutch FinTech and consultancy companies are joining forces to connect their expertise with the German financial-services market.
The cluster brings together capabilities in digital onboarding, KYC and KYB, electronic signing, payments, core banking, compliance, business intelligence, production verification and production monitoring. These capabilities are relevant to developments shaping the sector, from the digitisation of payment behaviour and DORA to digital identity, payment services and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
By connecting Dutch experience with the priorities of German financial institutions, the cluster aims to exchange knowledge, explore practical approaches and build cross-border partnerships. With close economic ties and complementary strengths, Germany and the Netherlands have a strong foundation for working together towards a more resilient, innovative and future-ready financial-services sector.
