Netherlands mission to ReBuild Ukraine
At ReBuild Ukraine 2025, Ukraine and the Netherlands join forces to turn urgent recovery needs into lasting solutions. From restoring energy systems to advancing circular construction and strengthening water infrastructure, Ukrainian and Dutch partners are working side by side to rebuild communities, create sustainable value and prepare for a resilient future.
Ukraine’s recovery is one of the largest reconstruction efforts of our time. From 12 to 14 November 2025, the ReBuild Ukraine conference in Warsaw will bring together Ukrainian municipalities, Dutch companies and international organisations to accelerate this process. Led by the Special Envoy for Ukraine, the Dutch delegation will focus on three key sectors: energy, circular construction and water. These are areas where Ukrainian priorities and Dutch expertise meet to create practical and future-proof solutions.
Let’s rebuild today for Ukraine’s resilient future.
A foreword from our Special Envoy for Ukraine
"After more than three and a half years of war, the damage Russia has inflicted upon the Ukrainian people and Ukraine’s social and physical infrastructure is immense. Power plants and other vital infrastructure have been damaged or destroyed, and many people have lost their homes and their livelihoods. Reconstruction cannot wait; it must start now, hand in hand with early recovery.
The private sector has a crucial role to play in rebuilding Ukraine. Dutch companies with their extensive knowledge and expertise – especially in the areas of circular construction, sustainable energy, agriculture, water, and life sciences and health – can make a key contribution to the country’s reconstruction.
The ReBuild Ukraine conference is an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand about Ukraine’s most urgent needs and priorities, to showcase Dutch knowledge and expertise, to network and establish contacts with governments, businesses and financial institutions, and to engage in sustainable cooperation with partners.
During the conference, several panels will hold in-depth discussions on Ukraine’s needs and provide insights on how we can best work together to rebuild Ukraine in a resilient and sustainable way.
Your participation is therefore essential for building Ukraine back better in the years ahead. Ukraine needs our support – we must rebuild Ukraine together.
I look forward to meeting you in Warsaw and supporting you in your efforts."
